CHIPPER AND DRUM DEBARKER AUTOMATION
Chipper is drived with 400V , 580A 4 pcs. motors . All 4 motors are flange mounted to a common gearbox via flexible couplings. The chipper disk and its shaft is directly coupled to gearbox’s secondary shaft. The four chipper main electric motors are started sequentially. The starting sequence begins with only two of the four motors that are diagonally located. After a 10 to 15 seconds time delay allow the chipper disk to gain speed the other two motors are started . The motors are started by the driver and after reaching full speed they transferred to the network.Drum debarker is drived by 8 pcs. 55 KW motors that are started seperate driver. Within this scope , Automation Panels were installed . PLC (include safety programs) and Scada programs were prepared and put in operation all systems .
